The Sanken Yaka Living Pharmacy in the Shipibo Native Community of Paoyhan is a community-run organization that aims to revitalize healing plants and traditional knowledge through a medicinal forest reserve on our community’s territory in the Amazon of Peru
Our Vision
Through preserving medicinal plant species and creating an intercultural learning center we aim to reconnect our community members with traditional knowledge, improve community health, and generate a sustainable economy that will boost community well-being
